What are Canada's three branches of government? Did you know that the principles for democratic government in Canada are established in the Canadian Constitution and the Canada system of government is made up of three branches with separate powers and responsibilities.

The legislative branch debates and passes new laws, the executive branch develops and implements the laws and the judicial branch ensures that Canada's courts interpret laws in a fair and proper way. The governor-general Prime Minister parliamentarians and judges all play important roles to help govern the country. Within these three branches Parliament is the Legislative branch of government, it is made up of the Monarch represented by the governor-general, the Senate. And the House of Commons in Canada. Parliamentarians proposed, new laws, called bills, by introducing them in the senate or the House of Commons bills are debated and voted on and must be approved by both chambers before. Receiving Royal assent from the governor general to become law. The executive branch commonly known as the

I meant includes the prime minister. The cabinet ministers and federal government departments, the Prime Minister as head of government, typically chooses cabinet, ministers from his, or her own party, cabinet leads and directs, the executive branch of government, the prime minister and cabinet ministers meet regularly to discuss and decide on government spending new policies, programs and services, and ideas for new laws. Parliament is at the center of Canada's system of government. Cabinet ministers are usually the ones who introduced bills on behalf of the government. In the House of Commons members of the opposition parties, hold the government in check by questioning, the Prime Minister and cabinet ministers on their actions and decisions. The judicial branch of government is made up of a system of Courts and judges that interpret the Constitution and laws passed by parliament. The independence of the judicial branch ensures, the judges can make decisions free of influence from the other two branches. So there you have it through the legislative executive and judicial branches of government laws are passed by parliament, implemented by government departments and interpreted by the courts. This is how Canada's democratic system of government, works to serve all Canadians.

It is a series of classes where you learn important, things about Canada, you know, like Canadian culture and Canadian geography, and Canadian history, and Canadian government. So, anyway, I did a recording of it. What are Canada's three branches of government?
